Statkraft is Europe's largest generator of renewable energy and has operated in the UK since 2006.
Statkraft owns and operates wind farms across the UK. In addition, Statkraft is the owner of the 56MW Rheidol Hydropower Station - the largest of its kind in England and Wales. The 317MW Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm of the coast of Norfolk in England is operated by Statkraft on behalf of the Statoil - Statkraft joint ownership arrangement.
Baillie Wind Farm (co-owned by Statkraft) in Caithness has been operational since 2013. A joint venture between Statkraft UK Ltd and local partners, it contains 21 turbines with a tip height of 110m.
