Across Wales in 2011 community benefit funds from wind farms provided over £620,000.
In 2012, the Alltwalis Wind Farm provided a community benefit fund of £82,400 - the second largest recorded in Wales. Since the creation of the fund over £236,000 has been provided for projects including a new first responder unit for the Llandysul Fire Station, renovations to the Gwyddgrug Chapel Vestry, new computers for the Ysgol Caer Felin, funding for new solar panels on the roof of Neuadd Eglwys Cymunedol Llanllwni and funding for new equipment at local Scouts groups and schools.
